Conan has sense left the flat to get up to who knows what but that suited Sherlock just fine as he'd rather the boy not be around for this incase he thought it appropriate to interject. As he's learned in the passed few months, Conan has a very skewed idea of what's appropriate and even important for others to know-it might even be worse than his own. ]
[ While he waits for John, Sherlock paces the sitting room that now looks even more like the one he'd left at Baker Street. He'd gone out of his way to even find similar decorations as the familiarity seemed to help. The shelves weren't quite full yet but he still needed to work out relevant references for his archives. ]
[ He hears the front door open and moves over to the small kitchen to start a kettle of tea just in case John wants a cup. He might as the conversation may require quite a bit of decision making. ]
[It doesn't take him long to get in through the door, setting his bag down on one of the chairs in the kitchen. To most it would look exactly like every other time John has come back to the flat after spending time away. He does move to start the kettle only to see that Sherlock's already done it, so instead he shifts to get a cup.]
[ Sherlock eyes the bag, he knows what all John carries in it and it just serves as a reminder to him of the COMPASS company that had tormented him-if he could get more information on the incident he would. But now isn't the time for that so he just settles into his chair. ]

[While John does carry it around just in case COMPASS decides to snatch him away again, it also holds things he might need here in case of emergency. If he comes across an individual who needs medical attention while he's out and about, he can treat them. It also means he can put his gun in it or even put in other items that he might pick up.]
I've heard some of it, never seen it for myself. Honestly, I imagine it's extremely painful to go through the transformation between the body he has now and the one he should have.
That's putting it mildly. The memory of the night it happened cropped up-it seemed to be a hell of a strain on the heart. Not to mention that his skin heated up so much sweat turned to steam. [ His expression goes blank a moment while he thinks of that memory and watching the kid he kinda, sorta, likes writing on the ground like that. He snaps back to reality quickly though and looks back up at John. ]
Have you ever given him a check-up? He seems fine with all the trouble he manages to get up to but I don't know-you're the medical professional. What do you think?
Sounds about right. [There was once a time when Sherlock had texted him a series of symptoms that was similar to what the man was describing now. However John hadn't actually been there the only time it had ever happened and he certainly didn't witness the memory.] It was bad, then?

He may not cooperate much-but I think I did manage to get him to at least agree to it, if you should want to check him over. Though he's very adamant about not wanting help with his situation. [ Which is the single most interesting thing about the kid. How could he do this to him? ]
[He takes Sherlock's word for it. Since John hasn't seen the transformation for himself he can only imagine it based off what little information he has. None of it good. Considering their circumstances at the time all John had been able to do was offer advice to get the patient into the cold water to decrease his body temperature.]
I'll schedule something in the near future. [After the memory sharing situation has passed. Neither of them want any other Foreigners or even natives to know why John's getting tests done.] Yeah, he's kind of an idiot when it comes to his own safety. Not wanting others involved in the situation. I tried talking to him once, not exactly sure if I actually got through to him even after we'd known each other for months.
[So he doesn't know if he could do it now after only a month of knowing each other.]

We briefly discussed the chances of Moriarty appearing, but since I now know it's an organisation he's dealing with, it might prudent to have a plan incase one of them should turn up. Obvious, they won't be nearly as dangerous to us-but to Conan-well, they might hold a grudge.
Probably. It'd be good to know what we should be looking out for in case a transformation ever happens. [John doesn't take nearly as long to fix his own cup but waits while Sherlock doctors his before following to sit across from him.]

Yes, that was his concern. That we'd want to investigate and become targets ourselves. [ He thinks back the earlier conversation. He has no doubt that Conan is right about the fact he and John would be moved to the target list but he does doubt if they'd get anywhere with their revenge. ]
Most likely, it's even a valid concern but cut from their resources they'll be much easier to take on. I have half a mind to give Valdis their descriptions because that's something I'd rather we know before he does. However, I promised not to mention it to anyone else.
There isn't exactly a whole lot we can do here. As far as we know none of them are here and chances of him remembering any idea that does form isn't one he'll remember back home. However, there's nothing stopping us from investigating should they show up. [Conan is keeping up the appearance of a seven year old and Shinichi is still technically only seventeen - still a teenager and probably not likely to get many adults to let him investigate something so dangerous.]
We're the only ones here who can help him. Back home he has a handful of individuals who know the truth, who can help him out and I've no doubt that he needs it from time-to-time. He just... doesn't trust us enough yet. Given time it's likely he will. After all, we didn't only go to his world just because I was his doctor.

We are, yes. He definitely won't like it but no one can do everything on their own, no matter how smart they are. [Conan thinks that if no one knows his secret that he'll be safe and that he'll be able to keep all of them safe too. Maybe it would, maybe being in the dark is the only option left but that doesn't mean they won't exhaust every available idea first.]

As far as I know they wear black suits and they've no special powers. The one main difference between what we're used to and about Conan's world is the drug that they forced on him. Their skills and abilities are things that we're used to dealing with. It will help that they aren't likely to be the sort to put themself on the network so casually and there don't seem to be many here who they could ally themselves with.

[A bit surprising they don't have their own secret code already. It could be like when they took on the Chinese smuggling ring.]
That's the part that concerns me too. If they decide to ditch their black suit after arrival, we won't be able to pick them out of a crowd. Even Conan doesn't know who all might be a member of the organization.
